Perfect Sounds Forever presents Vepsestikk at Landmark.
Vepsestikk are an uncompromising Bergen quartet folding indie, punk, prog and jazz together, with two trumpets and a good deal of other invention, held up by a resourceful rhythm section. Their 2023 debut EP drew top marks and wide acclaim, and the band has played Bergenfest, Nattjazz and Oslo Jazzfestival, as well as Stockholm, Copenhagen and Aarhus.
The band is Agnes Fernanda Kierulf (bass, trumpet), Hanna Elisabeth Zieritz (guitar, vocals), Linnea Josefine Gjelstad Kierulf (drums, vocals) and Móeiður Loftsdóttir (trumpet). Their debut album Hjertestikk arrives in autumn 2026, circling heartbreak, homesickness, unrequited love, grief and anxiety.
