Perfect Sounds Forever presents King Hüsky + Selma French at Landmark.
King Hüsky and Selma French join forces for a shared autumn tour. Each plays their own headline set, but with musicians and songs crossing over, they create a single live experience where the lines between the projects blur naturally. Both released critically acclaimed records in 2025 and have made their mark as powerful live acts, offering a night of familiar songs and new material alike.
Selma French
Selma made her name with the debut «Changes Like the Weather in the Mountain» (2022), ranked among the year’s best Norwegian albums by Dagsavisen and Aftenposten, among others. Its follow-up «No Sign of Rotten Leaves» earned a top score in Aftenposten and glowing reviews, plus radio play in the UK via BBC Radio 6. Her music reflects a love of Norwegian and English folk, with a thoughtful eye on the present.
King Hüsky
King Hüsky — aka Vidar Landa (of Kvelertak and Beachheads), together with Anne Lise Frøkedal, Børge Fjordheim and Arthur Berning — released one of last year’s most promising and acclaimed debuts. Album and singles have featured regularly from NRK P3 to Radio X in the UK, and been embraced by the likes of Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan. They recently wrapped a longer European tour with Sivert Høyem.
