With roots in Treungen and Bamble and a childhood in Skien, Ingvild Homme has established herself as one of Norway’s most distinctive visepop voices. She has won praise from the likes of GAFFA, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Ola Bremnes, and from music journalists who highlight her intimate, vulnerable and clear expression – and has been compared to artists such as Kari Bremnes and Joni Mitchell. Since her debut «Stemme lengter» (2018) she has released three critically acclaimed albums. «Detta lyset» followed in 2023, and in 2025 she released a new version of «Si no som hjelper» with Randi Oline, used in Amnesty’s Pride campaign over the summer. Now she arrives with her fourth album, completing a musical cycle of seasons – this time turning to the warmth of summer, closeness and distance, and the act of settling into one’s life, conveyed as only Ingvild can.
Bare Folk (support)
Bare Folk play viser (Norwegian songs). It’s never the same twice. Mostly they play their own songs – for instance from their acclaimed, Spellemann-nominated debut «Noe tror jeg & noe vet jeg» – but also others, some from forthcoming releases or releases that may never see the light of day.
