Fälaren describe themselves as Norway’s first folkgaze band, weaving together shoegaze, psychedelia, jazz-rock and folk. They have played Trondheim Calling and are signed to Apollon Records.
Future Nostalgia draw as much on the shoegaze pioneers Slowdive and Ride as on contemporaries such as Diiv, Grouper and Ringo Deathstarr. Members are known from Mining in Yukon, Pumpegris and LOOSER, among others. On their latest album, Mellow, the sound is darker and more dynamic, with weightier subject matter.
