Nayara Leite, Mari Kvien Brunvoll & Marie Nerland (2.—13. des 2024)

Mari Kvien Brunvoll is a composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist based in Bergen. Nayara Leite is a Brazilian artist and writer based in Bergen who works across text, performance, film, photography and installation. Marie Nerland is an artist who works mainly with performance and is based in Trondheim. They have been collaborating since 2022 and previously made the performance Machine Membranes at Lydgalleriet.

For Bergen Kunsthall’s Live Studio, Nayara, Marie and Mari will work with their upcoming project where the theme revolves around the relationship between man and machine and between technology and the human body. On how we are tracked by sensors and algorithms in our increasingly mediated way of experiencing and being in the world. During the two weeks they will improvise with material, sound, scripts, and sessions of composing, reading and writing.
