Playdate presents Rasmus Lagerberg Trio X 2 and Billy Meier at Landmark.
Rasmus Lagerberg is a vibraphonist trained at the Grieg Academy and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, who debuted in 2025 with post-bop and contemporary acoustic jazz. He comes to Landmark with the trio expanded by a string trio: Ola Høyer (bass), Øyvind Skarbø (drums), Soohyun April Jang (violin), Julia Palmer (viola) and Carmen Bóveda (cello). The music is melodic, intricate and dynamic, moving between the composed and the improvised.
Billy Meier mix jazz fusion, new wave and exotica without restraint. The band is touring for its tenth anniversary and the 2025 album Ten. The line-up is Henriette Eilertsen (flute, synth), Hans Kjorstad (violin, synth), Sander Eriksen Nordahl (guitar), Martin Morland (bass) and Ivar Asheim (drums).
