Perfect Sounds Forever presents The Tubs (UK), Lande Hekt (UK) and Bramwell (UK) at Landmark.
The Tubs announced their signing to Merge Records earlier this year with a cover of Metallica’s “Fade to Black”. The London-based quartet — Owen Williams (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass), Dan Lucas (guitar), Taylor Stewart (drums) and Max Warren (bass) — release their new album Hard Life on 11 September, led by the single “Who’s Gonna Love You Now”. Having honed their sound across two albums and hundreds of shows, they push further into the shimmering heart of virtuosic indie rock, where Williams’ familiar accounts of romantic abjection and London squalor meet a second, steelier voice with little patience for the first.
Lande Hekt has quietly become one of the UK’s finest underground songwriters. On Going To Hell (2021) and House Without a View (2022) she wrote about queer identity, sobriety and childhood trauma in a warm, conversational indie-pop, and has opened for Alvvays, Throwing Muses and The Beths. Her new album Lucky Now, made with producer Matthew Simms (Wire, It Hugs Back), is her most confident yet. She plays solo at Landmark.
Bramwell formed in Torquay and are based in Cardiff. Their “super diamond musick” is a sugary blend of hooky power pop, psychedelic folk rock, garage, DIY punk and eighties sophistication. The self-released single “Problems” was followed in 2026 by the double A-side “Standing on Stones” / “British Rails (Are Long and Fast)” on Gob Nation. Their debut album is being recorded.
