Art Histories — Season Nine with Hilde & Vilde

Season nine of Art Histories starts on September 24th and features art historian Hilde Marie Pedersen and artist Vilde Salhus Røed. They have created six brand new lectures on the history of art.

The lectures alternate between addressing different approaches to art history in general and being more focused on specific artists/works of art. The relationship between art and society is an important perspective for the lectures.

The course does not require any prior knowledge, but we hope it creates greater interest and understanding of art today. Each season addresses new stories about art.

Beginning on September 24th, 18:00
6 Wednesdays (week 41 is cancelled due to autumn holidays)
2 hours, including snacks (which fit the theme of the lecture)
