This lecture is part of Kunsthistorier — Season 10, six lectures on art and artists with art historian Hilde Marie Pedersen and artist Vilde Salhus Røed. This autumn, Kunsthistorier celebrates its 10th anniversary!
The lectures alternate between different approaches to art history in general and a closer focus on specific artists and works of art. The relationship between art and society is an important perspective throughout. The course requires no prior knowledge, but we hope it creates greater interest in and understanding of art today.
