Jungelen returns to Landmark with “Jungelen Colombia Spesial”, Saturday 17 October 🇨🇴
Colombian music and culture are a key part of Jungelen, and every so often we like to give this unique country some extra love.
Sofia Guidi (of La Vacanza, among others) and Marxiz (of Fargespill, among others) team up with Simon Alejandro for a new live-improv project built on club beats and instrumentals from Colombia – tested out for the very first time this night. Beyond cumbia and reggaeton, expect Afro-Colombian styles like champeta and currulao, plus new electronic music blending with deep Colombian traditions.
Before and after the concert, Simon Alejandro & Anny Roxanna run DJ sets with tunes from Colombia across genres, plus more music for the dancefloor from around the world.
We’re keeping to the first floor at Landmark this evening.
