A preview screening of The Best Summer — a time capsule from a one-off tour with Sonic Youth, Beastie Boys and Bikini Kill.
Tamra Davis’s documentary is a hangout film that brings the audience right up close to the artists, and offers a glimpse of what large concerts were like before smartphones took over. Enjoy the backstage pass and drift back to the nineties.
The screening is a collaboration between Bergen International Film Festival, Perfect Sounds Forever and Bergen Kunsthall. BIFF 2026 runs 14–22 October.
