Playdate presents Monkey Plot at Landmark.
Monkey Plot is an instrumental trio of Christian Winther on guitar, Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard on bass and Jan Martin Gismervik on drums. The trio made its recording debut in 2013 with Løv og lette vimpler, followed by releases on Hubro in 2014 and 2016. Their music captures the essence of the guitar, bass, and drums format, somewhere between experimental rock and freer jazz.
After five years without concerts, the band returned with a retrospective album in 2025. Their fourth studio album is out on Motvind Records in autumn 2026.
