Ekkolodd play a late-summer concert at Landmark, with support from Støv.
Ekkolodd formed in Bergen in 2010 and play experimental/alternative/indie rock with lyrics in the Gudbrandsdal dialect, drawing on exploratory rock, jazz, soul and electronic music. The band is Andreas Naustdal (bass), Daniel Reichelt (keys), Jarle Håland (drums), Kim Morgan Morken (vocals and guitar), Mats Halvorsen (pedal steel and guitar) and Øyvind Aase Fluge (guitar and keys). In 2013 they competed in NRK P3’s Urørt final with the song Perler and released their debut album Det bruse forbi me… the same year. Their second album, Javel, Ravel?, followed in 2015, and after an eight-year hiatus the band returned with their third album, Ha det hus! (Fysisk Format, 2023). At Landmark they’ll play old and new favourites alongside new songs from a fourth album in progress.
Støv are a “showgaze” band with North Norwegian roots, now expanded with musicians from Toten. This year they released the EP Speil Speil, the follow-up to their 2015 debut. The line-up is Robin Skog (vocals and guitar), Andreas Rukan (bass), Ola Øverby (drums) and Iver Armand (guitar).
