Klubballiansen brings together various club communities in Bergen for a night where multiple expressions meet on the same dance floor. Behind the concept is a desire to create collaboration between local DJ collectives and club concepts and to provide the audience with a night of breadth within electronic club music.
Tonight, Disco Paradiso and Teknoteket meet for a club night at Landmark, where house, techno and related expressions flow into each other throughout the evening.
House on Sale (Disco Paradiso)
Simen K, aka House on Sale, is a DJ and one of the initiators behind the club concept Disco Paradiso. His sets move across the landscape of classic house, Balearic rhythms, Nordic disco, and other warm, groovy expressions from the history of club music. Focusing on flow, atmosphere, and energy, he builds sets that invite long dance floors and an open club vibe.
OBLA (Teknoteket)
OBLA, from Bergen (and a bit of Berlin), is one of the forces behind the club concept Teknoteket. He is also known for the Flekken forest parties and has, in the past year, played at clubs such as Fiese Remise and Diskotek Melancholy in Berlin, as well as hosting a weekly radio show on Etikett Radio. Musically, he moves in a darker and more hypnotic landscape, with deep bass and driving techno inspired by the underground scene.
