Hey, fam! We are looking forward mucho to Jungelfest 2026 – the festival celebrating 10 years of Jungelen. Since our first event in January 2016, we have hosted over 40,000 visitors to our festivals, club nights, and concert nights, and DJ workshops, and we have presented thousands of artists and supported both emerging talents and veterans. This deserves a wild celebration!
This time, we are taking it back to the smaller and more intimate venues where you are on the same level as the artists, and the sound and lighting are smashing. For the past two years, we have tested larger venues for the festival – and while successful, we are now thrilled to bring it back to where Jungelen originated. The concerts will take place at Landmark (Bergen Kunsthall) and Østre; lectures and talks at Bergen Assembly; and the afterparties at Kennel, Steppeulven, and ROMMET.
If you aren’t already fans of Bergen-style afro-techno, Norwegian-Brazilian samba, indie-soul, Neapolitan disco and boogie, local rap, and British jazz, you certainly will be after the festival. GET READY!
Candura
Norwegian-Brazilian samba, disco, funk, and pop! Candura is a brand-new band from Oslo, featuring a stellar lineup of musicians, creating warm, pure, honest, inclusive, and danceable music full of atmosphere.
The band – inspired by Brazilian samba and pop, Italian disco, Turkish funk, and modern indie-pop – is one of the best Norwegian bands we have heard in years. Not only is their performance at Jungelfest 2026 their VERY FIRST concert, but it also opens the entire festival with a bang, setting the right mood for three days of fantastic musical experiences.
