Resa Saffa Park comes to Bergen and Landmark on 30 April. Drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, and indie, she creates a cinematic soundscape that combines modern and vintage elements—melancholic, elegant, and distinctive.
Born in Dubai and now based in Oslo, she studied at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and has been active as a musician since 2017. Her music is influenced by a broad spectrum of sources, from the raw emotionality of Nirvana to the timeless tones of Billie Holiday and Chet Baker.
Last year, she released her debut album, Silver Bead Eyes, produced by Bård Berg, following the release of three EPs since 2020. The album received glowing reviews from Norwegian media outlets such as Aftenposten, NRK, GAFFA, and Subjekt, as well as international attention—particularly in Turkey, where she has a loyal and growing fanbase. Aftenposten described the album as “a majestic soundscape that feels timeless”, a summary that captures the essence of Resa’s musical universe.
