"Iter Subterraneum": Tour with workshop for families

Join us for a guided tour and creative workshop for families. Our skilled mediators will spark the imagination both in the galleries and upstairs in the Kunsthall’s education room.
The exhibition “Iter Subterraneum” is inspired by Ludvig Holberg’s novel Niels Klim’s Underground Travels (1741), a work often referred to as the Nordic region’s first science fiction novel. Through the story of a man who falls through a hole in Mount Fløyen in Bergen and discovers a society governed by sentient trees, the Enlightenment’s faith in science is united with fantasy and satire.
