Gyre

This book is published on the occasion of Camille Norment’s comprehensive exhibition “Gyre”, the Festival Exhibition 2023 at Bergen Kunsthall. The title, “Gyre”, describes a spiral motion or vortex that simultaneously moves outwards and upwards, and functions as an abstract idea that Norment explores in various ways. The book includes the text contributions “Camille Noment´s Prepositional Technology” by Nina Sun Eidsheim, “Inhuman Frequencies” by Kathryn Yusoff, and a conversation between Axel Wieder and Camille Norment.
