Cecilie Andersson is Associate Professor and Vice Rector at the Bergen School of Architecture, where she formerly served as Rector from 2013-2021.
She has worked as an architect at HLM Arkitektur in Bergen and Helen & Hard in Stavanger on various projects related to building, transformation and planning. She received her doctorate from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in urban planning on the topic of migrant positioning in cities with an emphasis on urban villages in China. She currently coordinates the first-year program at the Bergen School of Architecture and has taught master courses and workshops at BAS, NTNU and several schools in China (SCUT, GAFA, XAUAT, Tongji).
Elisabeth Lillegraven is the Head of Project and Development at Voss Herad. Elisabeth is an architect who was educated at Bergen School of Architecture and TU Delft in the Netherlands. In recent years, she has studied planning and has a master’s degree in urbanism from the Oslo School of Architecture. From 2005 to 2017, she ran her own architectural office. In 2017, she became the project manager for the urban development of the city centre of Voss Municipality, and in 2020, she was appointed head of a newly established department for project development in the same municipality.
Jacob Schroll works as an architect in the Department of Buildings Protection of Bymuseet i Bergen, which oversees the conservation and preservation of the foundation’s 105 cultural and historical buildings.
The Foundation Bymuseet i Bergen is dedicated to preserving, managing, and sharing Bergen’s cultural and historical heritage. The foundation offers insight into the city’s history, architecture, and culture through its diverse museums, collections, and activities. Responsible for some of Bergen’s most renowned historical sites and collections, the foundation’s work is crucial in keeping the city’s rich history alive and relevant for future generations.
Jacob Schroll has a master’s degree from the Bergen School of Architecture. Before this, he was trained as a boat builder and worked as a restoration carpenter at Bryggen in Bergen. After graduating, he has been involved in the start-up of Gamle3Hus and Utmark Architecture. As leader of the group of architects, he has, through large and small projects, built up a broad competence in design and project management. In parallel with working as a performing architect, he has regularly since 2012 had assignments as a teacher at the schools of architecture in Bergen and Oslo, especially with a focus on construction, material knowledge and vernacular architecture.
