Project Stories
GENS (fr)

GENS is an architecture practice based in Nancy, France run by Guillaume Eckly, Barbara Fischer and Mathias Roustang.

From public and private commissions, cultural institutions, self-built houses, agricultural sheds and collective housing, GENS explores the economy of each project in various forms: conceptual, aesthetic, budgetary or energy related.

While oriented towards an operational practice of architecture and construction, GENS nevertheless engages in the worlds of art, teaching, scenography, publishing, where they participate within the same and unique material: reality.

The lecture is curated by Cristian Stefanescu (Assistant Professor, BAS & founder of a-works | architecture + art) and co-hosted by the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) and Bergen Arkitektforening (BAF)
