Welcome to the childrens own art exhibition “Mylder 2019 – Time”

Every year the Mylder exhibition project is tied to the annual MA Exhibition of the Faculty of Art, Music and Design, UiB, and gives children an opportunity to work with an artist towards an exhibition. The children first get a tour of this year’s MA Exhibition, where different theories of contemporary art are presented and debated. After the tour one of the city’s artists hosts a workshop giving the children a unique insight into how an artist works. Furthermore, they themselves participate in an artistic production, following the entire process from idea to finished work, in order to concretize what was discussed during the tour. The project ends with the exhibition Mylder, consisting of all the children’s works and curated by the invited artist. We are happy to present Ingrid Bjørnseth as this years Mylder-artist.
