Unbecoming – a participatory gathering facilitated by artist Tejal Shah
Shah’s research-based practice is informed by queer-feminism, eco-poetics and nonduality. Since 2017, Shah has been facilitating participatory group processes by way of intensive workshops and retreats. These experiential journeys are rooted in the aesthetics of care, and operate on a psychosomatic and performative level, emphasizing multiplicity over singularity. Participants are invited to come into present moment awareness, experience embodied interdependence, become vulnerable in community, and heal in relationality. This gathering will give us a glimpse into the artist’s process.
