Transgender Day of Remembrance is recognized annually on November 20 and honors the memory of the transgender people who have lost their lives to violence, and those we have lost to suicide. We gather to mark the day and create awareness around the violence, harassment and discrimination experienced by transgender people both in Norway and the rest of the world.
We invite you to join the gathering on the lawn outside of Bergen Kunsthall, where we will showcase art on the wall of Bergen Kunsthall and hold speeches. We will serve tea and cocoa to keep us warm and end the gathering with a march around Lille Lungegården.
Remember to wear warm clothes!
Afterwards, we gather at Bergen Kunsthall and eat a Tamil dinner served by Middag med Godfrey.
