Konsept X
UMAMI
23:00

Konsept X presents UMAMI – a club night where we invite DJs to bring favorites from their taste palette to an eclectic club night with several shorter DJ sets and B2B fun.
“Umami” is known as the fifth taste. Directly translated from Japanese, it means something like the essence of deliciousness. Yummy! Umami is tasty and exciting – something we all crave without really knowing exactly what it is. UMAMI will serve you afrobeats, dancehall, reggaeton, hip hop, baile funk and more.

Special guest for the night is ADIPOP! The Oslo-based DJ plays a variety of genres ranging from amapiano, afro, kuduro, and kwaito to electronic music with dancehall and hip-hop influences. She is strongly influenced by her father’s Nigerian music culture as well as the Jamaican dancehall and reggae scene. Her eclectic and vibrant mix of music has earned her performances on various music platforms such as NTS, Radar Radio, Rinse, and Øyafestivalen.

Since 2017, Konsept X has organized a range of club nights and events in Bergen. Konsept X DJs this night are ASBI, Tora G and Toska.

ASBI and Tora G are known for setting dance floors on fire with their their energetic and fun B2B-sets! At UMAMI they will play both solo and B2B.
TORA G originally found her way into DJing through her love for hip hop and r&b, but has always been a true music nerd who loves to explore music across genres and borders. This characterizes her versatile playing style. As a DJ she is playful and likes to improvise inspired by the dance floor. She has a weakness for naughty, bass-heavy music and cool drum grooves. At UMAMI she will serve yummy musical delicacies that make it hard to stand still.

TOSKA likes everything that is fun and she is excited to share the best bits from her goody bag at UMAMI. Genre doesn’t matter to her as long as the bass is pumping and making the walls vibrate. Get ready for a fun, and informal DJ set focusing on good vibes and love. Toska is here to make everyone dance and have fun!
