Besteforeldrenes klimaaksjon (The grandparents’ climate action) organizes lectures and meetings.
Lecture by Åse Møller-Hansen. She has a degree in social sciences and is a media manager for the International Women’s League for Peace and Freedom, IKFF Norway. From 2003 she was active in the international campaign to ban weapons with depleted uranium. Through this work, it became increasingly clear that war and militarism have enormous environmental costs, from radioactive pollution to massive climate emissions and the destruction of ecosystems. In 2019, she published the small book: Security for whom, About military climate emissions, war as a business idea and ways to peace – and has since held a number of lectures on the topic in Norway and Sweden.
