We invite you to take part in the seventh edition of Vill Vill Vest 1 – 3 September 2022. 70 of the best Norwegian artists in the world will play on several of Bergen's well-known and beloved stages, and we guarantee that you will find your new favourite artist.
Since 2016, Vill Vill Vest has promoted new musical talents for the public and the national and international music industry. Together with the interest organization Brak, we invite you to conferences, seminars and great concerts in the center of Bergen. Artists such as Sigrid, Fieh, Pom Poko, Boy Pablo, Kjartan Lauritzen and Dårlig Vane have had some of their first meetings with the public on one of Vill Vill Vest's many stages. In addition, the festival is an important meeting place between artists and the industry, with everything from local record labels to international companies.

Tara Nome Doyle is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter with Norwegian-Irish roots. Since her debut in 2018, she has been streamed by millions and released an EP and several singles to rave reviews. Now she is ready with her second album “Værmin”, a tragic love story with pulsating rhythms, violin and synth. When she is not making songs named after pests, she collaborates with producers and famous people around the world.

The Musical Slave, also known as Kristin Vollset, is a musician, songwriter and filmmaker from Bergen. She writes songs about love, cosmic forces, and social structure. She is best known for award-winning music videos from Ireland, but you may also have run into her on a farm in Hardanger, a stable in Dublin or fish markets in Mexico. The Musical Slave is experimental and challenging, she is passionate about telling stories through music and film, and illuminating society.

¡BangBang Watergun! is an innovative indie band consisting of 5 young musicians. With their playful expression and references taken from hip-hop, jazz and rock, the band has created a completely unique sound. The music is explosive and beat-oriented – and with the bands brilliant presence on stage, it´s impossible not to get involved. Recently, the band released several singles that have gained good criticism, and in August comes the long-awaited debut.
