Karmaklubb* is a nomadic queer club concept and conversational platform. Apart from club evenings and nights the programme consists of open conversations, curatorial work, screenings, artist talks, panels, concerts, performance, wine tastings, and sometimes food. One of the larger projects within the Karmaklubb*-frame is the ‘Talks & screenings (on various forms of queerness)’ and ‘Though & pleasures sessions’—a series of discursive events established fall 2018, proudly giving space to artists, curators, institutions, musicians, writers, scholars, and others representing an important voice. @karmaklubb_oslo
Konsept X is a Bergen-based, non-profit, feminist music and culture collective consisting of 10 women with backgrounds from music, arts and design. It was established in 2017 as a DJ collective in response to the lack of female DJs in the Bergen club scene. It has later evolved to be a creative collective for artistic development and co-creation for the members, as well as functioning as an independent arranger of club nights, talks and workshops with the overall aim of promoting diversity and representation in the club- and cultural scene in Bergen.
