The Christmas Lottery

The annual Christmas Lottery will also be held this winter, but because of Covid-19 it will be in a different format from before. Instead of inviting our members to Bergen Kunsthall, we will be inviting ourselves home to you over the Internet via Facebook, our website and Youtube.

On the first Sunday in Advent we will spin the tombola and raffle off 12 artworks bought from Bergen-based or -related artists. The winning number will be drawn as usual from the membership numbers, in keeping with the 180-year history of the Christmas Lottery.
When the day finally arrives we ask all our members to get out the gingerbread and mulled wine and let the Christmas Lottery for the year come to them.
