golden jar #1 hosts 4 super-golden artists from or based in Bergen, each presenting live music compositions and performances for the first time. Moving between electro-pop, low-fi R&B, gathered sounds, vocal explorations and experimental visuals:
Julie Silset Julie Silseth is co-founder and co-DJ in Klubb JIJU with Jiska Huizing and co-founder of record label Ideophone Records with Jiska and Rudi Valdersnes, focusing on ‘electronic and electro-acoustic music for an adventurous dance floor’. Julie steps out tonight to debut her own live musical compositions for the first time, drawing on a constellation of her Moog synthesiser and vinyl collection, as well as her own archive of sounds. Brita UT + Andrea Urstad Toft Brita UT’s music crosses different genres including electronica, house and pop, characterised by playful sounds with danceable beats, enchanting vocal harmonies and experimental effects. For her live performance, Andrea Urstad Toft creates visuals using a mixture of analogue and digital techniques, created through an exploratory process tailored to Brita’s beats. https://soundcloud.com/britaut Solå (Sol Sunnanå Eriksen) Solå is a singer / songwriter producing lo-fi R&B and vocals, blending soft melodic tunes and more dynamic elements from both soul and hip hop.
