Renowned architect, urbanist, and writer Keller Easterling presents her work on the infrastructures, digital formulas and urban policies that govern our lives and movements in the world – drawing from her recent research publication ‘Medium Design’.

Keller Easterling is an architect, writer and professor at Yale. Her recent books and essays include ‘Extrastatecraft: The Power of Infrastructure Space’ (Verso, 2014), examining global infrastructure as a medium of polity; the e-book essay ‘Medium Design (Strelka Press, 2017); ‘Subtraction’ (Sternberg, 2014). Other books include: ‘Enduring Innocence: Global Architecture and its Political Masquerades’ (MIT, 2005) and ‘Organization Space: Landscapes, Highways and Houses in America’ (MIT, 1999). Her research and writing were included in the 2014 and 2018 Venice Architecture Biennales. She lectures and exhibits internationally.
