Brigid Mae Power is an Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who, like Judie Sill, Micky Newburyor and Linda Perhacs before her, paint her songs in dreamily expansive strokes, transporting earthly compositions into almost exultant realms. Her startling voice, accompanied by instruments like guitar, piano, accordion or harmonium, encapsulates a timeless magic to her live performances. Themes include transformation, change, motherhood, acceptance, strength, courage and trust, and the belief that if you lose yourself or your way, you can find back.

Power has toured throughout Ireland, UK and the US together with artists including Lee Ranaldo, Richard Dawson, Alasdair Roberts, Peter Broderick and Ryley Walker.

Lawrence English is composer, artist and curator based in Australia. As the founder of the Room 40 label, he curates contemporary ambient and experimental music by the likes of Mike Cooper, Ben Frost, Grouper, Tim Hecker, Greg Davis, Oren Ambarchi and David Toop.  His work calls into question the established relationships of sound, harmony, distortion and structure, as much as it is evocative and invites the listeners to explore their own narratives shaped by their subjective histories and experiences.

English is one half of HEXA with Jamie Stewart, who recently collaborated with David Lynch on the Factory Photographs project and enjoys ongoing collaborations with John Chantler (as Holy Family), Liz Harris (as Slow Walkers), Stephen Vitiello, Werner Dafeldecker and others.
