Tours open to the general public

In addition to guided tours for upper secondary schools, lower secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens, Bergen Kunsthall also offers tours of temporary exhibitions that are open to the general public.

Sunday tours:
Bergen Kunsthall offers guided tours open to the public on the Sunday following each exhibition opening. The tour starts at 13.00 and is free of charge when you purchase an entrance ticket. This spring, we will host guided tours on Sunday, 19 April and on Sunday, 23 May.

Family tours:
Bergen Kunsthall also offers guided tours that are specially adapted for families with small children. Adults and children alike can enjoy a Sunday morning tour. Guided tours start at 11.00 and are free of charge when you purchase an entrance ticket. Entrance is free of charge for children. This spring, family tours will be hosted 19 April and 23 May.

Friday tours:
This spring, we will be extending our exhibition opening hours on Friday evenings. In that connection, Bergen Kunsthall will be hosting regular free guided tours of exhibitions. Friday tours start at 20.00. Guided tours will be held on the following Fridays between now and autumn: 20 March, 3 and 24 April, 22 May, 5 and 19 June, 3, 17 and 31 July, and 14 August.

Bergen Kunsthall also offers visitors presentations, lectures and debates featuring some of the contemporary art scene’s most prominent curators and theoreticians. Plattform listings are continually updated. The next event will be held 23 May.

Private tours:
