Pier Paolo Pasolini´s last, and arguably most controversial film, describes sadism and humiliation in such a unscrupulous manner, that it is still banned in several countries. Before the film´s release, Pasolini was brutally murdered, an incident that by many was regarded as an act of political revenge.
