Festival Artist Torbjørn Rødland in conversation with British curator and writer Francesca Gavin.

Torbjørn Rødland’s Festival Exhibition "Fifth Honeymoon" will consist of 30 new photographs and a new video.

The exhibition is tightly composed and fills Bergen Kunsthall's gallery rooms in the form of four chapters. Each room connects to the enigmatic exhibition title in different ways. With the binding commitment of the marriage, and the emotional journey of the honeymoon as metaphorical superstructures, the exhibition treats themes such as religion, spirituality, eroticism and the spark that help to form personal relationships.

Torbjørn Rødland (born 1970, Stavanger) lives and works in Los Angeles.

Francesca Gavin is a curator and writer based in London. She is the Art Editor of Twin, editor at large at Kaleidoscope and contributing editor at Good Trouble, Sleek and She has a monthly radio show Rough Version on NTS Radio.
