JEALOUSY PARTY
Jealousy Party is a Berlin based abstract R&B outfit blending noise and improvisation with funk, avant rock, dub and idiosyncratic electronic collage – a fusion they call Punca. Founded in Florence, Italy in 1995 by producers Roberta WJM Andreucci and Mat Pogo, Jealousy Party keeps their line-up open to variations and explorations. To electronics and vocals they add metamorphic samples from the burning library of sessions that they have been recording since 1995 with an open collective of musicians. These recordings are endlessly reshuffled, dubbed and remixed live with a spontaneous use of playback devices that has become one of Jealousy Party's most crucial trademarks.

BLACK SPIRITUALS
Black Spirituals, of Oakland CA, are a locally venerated duo of creative sound-makers Zachary Watkins and Marshall Trammell, who articulate meaning at the ecstatic intersection of tone-generating electronics & the heart-thumping, acoustic percussion technologies.
The duo features a new tradition in conversant, duo vernacular dynamics that sparkes a revolution in our conceptions of space, stage, ritual, performance, geography, praxis, brotherhood, relationships, rockin’ out, and more.

JD ZAZIE
JD Zazie is a DJ, turntablist and sound artist based in Berlin. Coming from a DJ and a radiophonic background she has been exploring over the years different approaches to real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound. As a solo performer, in small groups or large ensembles she moves in an area which is constantly stretching the borders of what is supposed to be DJ mixing, free improvisation and composed music. Juxtaposition, decontextualization, fragmentation, repetition, sonic texture, scratch and error are elements of the grammar adopted to relate, organize and rearrange the sound.

Doors open: 20.00.
